About me

Corey, vegan blogger and founder of The Vegan Six.

Hi, I’m Corey — a former NYC lawyer turned certified plant-based nutrition expert (eCornell + IIN), longtime vegan, and mom of four. I’ve been living a plant-based life for over 15 years and raising four kids along the way — and I created The Vegan Six to make plant-based living feel simple, sustainable, and totally doable for real people.

I started The Vegan Six in 2016 to share what I was learning while raising four plant-based kids. Back then, it was all about toddler snacks, kid-friendly dinners, and navigating preschool parties as “the vegan family.” These days, my kids are between 12 and 20 — two are now vegetarian, and the rest of us remain vegan — and our plant-based life has evolved along the way.

Today, I focus on helping home cooks and families feel confident making mostly high-protein vegan meals that support strength, energy, and long-term wellness — without overcomplication.

On the blog, you’ll find:

  • Simple, mostly high-protein vegan recipes made with pantry staples and everyday ingredients

  • One-bowl meals, sheet pan dinners, and no-fuss prep designed for real life

  • Comfort food made plant-based, the way we actually eat it

  • Tips for feeding teens, supporting active lifestyles, and navigating mixed-diet households

  • A flexible, no-guilt approach to plant-based living grounded in science, values, and experience

Whether you’re newly plant-based, feeding a family, or just looking for easy, nourishing meals you can make tonight — welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.
